Will I Need Compression Garments After My Gynecomastia Procedure?

Watch this video by Samuel Shatkin Jr., MD, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Buffalo, NY as he explains after-care garments associated with undergoing a gynecomastia procedure.

After gynecomastia surgery, we’re going to have the patients wear compression vest, which they usually wear for the first 1 to 2 weeks. After that, we usually have the patients switch to a type of garment that is sort of like the athletic compression shirts that they’ll wear and that’ll be for like another 2 to 4 weeks.
