What’s very interesting about liposuction is on the first post-operative visit, which will be the day after surgery, patients can immediately get an idea of what they’re going to look like. At day two or three, however, the swelling starts to set in and very often the patients start to see that fullness, which takes about two or three weeks to start to turn the corner again.
But usually within about four weeks, the patients get a pretty good idea of what the end result is going to be. And the final healing is almost done at that point, about 80 to 90%.
