The recovery after liposuction will really depend on what the extent of the removal of the fat. If we’re taking just small amounts, say, underneath the chin or on the love handles, usually within a few days, patients are feeling pretty good and they can get back to their light activity. If we’re doing more extensive liposuction, such as on the abdomen and legs, the recovery will be longer.
