MEDSPA
Medspa services at the Aesthetic Associates Centre starts with a thorough assessment of one's skin condition and with that the team of skin care specialists can devise a treatment plan which will include laser type devices and injectables to condition the skin, and reduce lines and wrinkles. Dr. Shatkin and his team of health professionals use various injectables like Botox, Jeuveau or Dysport and Fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse and Sculptra can be used to enhance the appearance of facial features or diminish the appearance of aging changes and wrinkles, as well as other areas of the face. Botox helps by reducing dynamic wrinkles cause by use of facial muscles of animation. Fillers, such as Juvederm, Restylane and Sculptra soften lines of the face by filling valleys and wrinkles to reduce the aging appearance. Kybella can be used to reduce fatty fullness in the neck as well as other areas of the body.
INJECTABLES
Injectables essentially fall into 2 categories. Injectables that treat dynamic wrinkles to relax muscles and reduce appearance of wrinkles during animation- Botox and other neurotoxins, and injectables that treat static wrinkles or add volume- Fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane.
BOTOX- NEUROTOXIN
Dr. Samuel Shatkin Jr. and his staff have been injecting neurotoxins since 1998. There are various FDA approved neurotoxins, of which Botox is the most popular. Some younger patients elect to begin treatment with neurotoxins early in adulthood to prevent the onset of wrinkles and lines created from animation. These treatments are safe and effective and have been used for more than 20 years. Areas to treat include frown lines, crows feet, forehead lines, wrinkles and lines from smiling and grimacing around the mouth, muscle bands on the neck and for patients with TMJ dental problems and grinding. Dr. Shatkin and his team are faculty of the Aesthetic Learning Academy where they teach other health professionals on the use of these injectables to obtain the ideal results for patients.
FILLERS
Facial Dermal Fillers provided by the team at the Aesthetic Associates Centre include Juvederm tm, Restylane, Sculptra and Fat injection. Dermal fillers can add volume to areas of the face and hands where aging has caused depletion or deflation. Wrinkles and valleys can be filled to give a more softer and youthful appearance. Dr. Shatkin and his staff teach courses to health professionals through the Aesthetic Learning Academy on the proper use and safety of these products. Botox can be used in conjunction with other injectables like fillers to rejuvenate the face and hands, and are performed by Dr. Shatkin and his Plastic Surgery Team.
LASER SPA TREATMENTS
Photofacial IPL light treatments
The Aesthetic Associates Centre in Buffalo, NY offers the best in Photo Facial treatments. Laser Hair Removal
Hair Removal is provided by the Aesthetic Associates Centre to reduce hair in areas of the face, armpits (axilla), body, bikini, legs and back. Laser Fractionated

Laser Skin Resurfacing
Ablative Laser skin resurfacing is a procedure that uses lasers to create a new, smooth skin appearance. The laser “ablates”, or destroys, the outer layers of skin which have been damaged by age, sun, acne, wrinkles, or pigmentation problems or spots. The destruction of the older layers of skin prompts the body to generate a new layer of skin cells which are unaffected by the previous skin condition. Some lasers may be inappropriate for darker skin complexions.

The SkinPen microneedling device creates controlled micro-channels in the skin that stimulate the body’s natural wound healing process. RF Microneedling
