JDRF Silver Sponsors

Niagara Falls, NY January 2017-   AAC to be Silver Sponsors for JDRF at the 2017 Gala this month

The Aesthetic Associates Centre for Plastic Surgery and Dentistry ups their annual support of Juvenile Diabetes in 2017.  This year, they increased their annual support of the Gala by becoming Silver Sponsors of the event which will be at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino 2017 Journey to a Cure Gala Saturday, January 21, 2017.  The JDRF’s elegant black tie event is a memorable evening where corporate patrons and families enjoy a glittering night out on the town, while supporting JDRF's mission to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D).

"Thank you very much for generously committing in advance as a Gala sponsor.  You’ve set the momentum for Gala success this year!" says Eileen Jeer, National Donor Relations- JDRF corporate office in Manhattan.

"We are delighted to continue our support for finding a cure for Juvenile Diabetes.  Our daughter, Danielle, has been a diabetic since age 2, and now in graduate school, we owe a great amount of her success and health to the endeavors of the JDRF in funding worthy research studies to support not only day to day treatments, but hopefully one day finding a cure for Diabetes and relieving people around the world of this devastating disease", says Dr. Samuel Shatkin Jr."  He goes on to add, "again this year Danielle is co-chair of the gift procurement committee.  We are impressed by her efforts to lead the charge and are so proud of her committment."  Picture at 2016 JDRF Bronze Sponsors at Adams Mark- Buffalo

More than 80% of every dollar raised will directly benefit JDRF's research efforts to cure, treat & prevent type 1 diabetes.  JDRF exists for the millions of children, adults, and families affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) every single day.

T1D is an autoimmune disease in which a person's pancreas loses the ability to produce insulin — a hormone essential to turning food into energy. It strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle. It requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
